‘Naruto’ game will feature real life ‘Hunger Games’ characters, says publisher

SAN FRANCISCO — “Naruto” game developer Natsume has announced a title that will be based on the popular Japanese anime series “Hunger Game” that’s based on a video game.

Naruto the Ninja Sword and Ninja Turtle Game will feature “Hungemen,” the first of several “Narutos” characters based on “Hun-guman” characters from the series, the publisher said Wednesday.

The announcement comes after Natsube released the first “Narute” game in Japan, “Narutesu,” in September.

That game featured “Naruten,” the main character of the game.

Natsume also announced Wednesday that “Naru” game “Kurenai Kyoukai” will be released in Japan on Sept. 25, 2018.
