Today’s biggest sporting events will bring with them big-time sporting moments and huge social impact, says the founder of SportVegas, the largest online sports marketing platform.
And in a bid to keep you entertained during the game, you’re going to have to get used to it.
The sport’s biggest event is the NBA All-Star game on Friday.
The NBA has been staging games like this for the past three decades.
In the past year, it’s staged a slew of big events including the 2017 EuroBasket and the 2022 Summer Olympics.
The event, which is held every two years, has grown to the tune of $10bn in ticket sales, according to Sports Illustrated.
But it’s a little different when it comes to the NBA, where the NBA will be hosting its final game of the season on Monday night.
“When the NBA Finals are happening, the last game is usually the first one of the year,” said Mike Henningsen, CEO of Sport Vegas.
“The NBA is very much a business-focused sport and its business is the basketball.
So for the NBA to be the first game of its season and then to not play is kind of a no-brainer.”
It’s not just about tickets and TV rights.
“When you look at ticket prices, it goes into the ticket prices of what is the best product out there,” Hennonson said.
“You can get an NBA ticket and you can get a $50 discount on a ticket to a game in another sport.
It’s a completely different experience and I think it’s going to help the NBA sell out stadiums and generate revenue.”
But what if you don’t want to see the All-Stars play?
That’s where Sport Vegas comes in.
Henningson says Sport Vegas is launching a new marketing campaign to give fans the option of watching the NBA games on their phones.
“We’re starting a brand that is going to be able to help sell a couple of NBA games for free online,” he said.
“It’s going be called ‘Game Day,'” Hennensonson explained.
“It’s gonna be like the NBA website for the season.
And it’s not going to just be a bunch of numbers.
It’s going and looking at what people want, and then offering those people free access to those games for that night.”
For example, when the Warriors take on the Rockets on Friday night, they’re offering free access for fans to watch their favourite team’s game online.
“People are going to want to get the game on their phone.
And they’re going get access to all the stats,” Hinningson said, “and they’re gonna be able get that on their smartphone and be able look at all those stats.”
So if you’re a basketball fan, you’ll be able watch the game for free.
But what about if you want to watch it at home?
Sports Vegas has a new app that will allow fans to do just that.
While you’re watching the game at home, you can also stream it to your smartphone.
This will allow you to watch all the action live and stream it for free to your friends and family.
It’s all part of a bigger push by the NBA for the fans to embrace the games.
“This is going in a big way for the league, and that’s really what we’re here to do,” Hernonson added.
He’s referring to the way the NBA has built up a relationship with its fans, in an attempt to get them to pay for tickets.
“They’re actually selling tickets, and the fans are getting access to it for a very low price.
So, that’s a good thing,” he explained.”
So, you know, we’re really trying to do something to really get the fan base engaged in these games, and I’m very excited about it.”
The NBA has made an effort to build a relationship, too.
It started with an event called “The Game” in 2016.
That was an online event in which fans could play games of basketball online.
The next year, the NBA started using the hashtag #NBAallstars on social media to give the fans a chance to meet the All Stars.
This year, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will host the event.
The first NBA game is on Friday, but the league is working on a more robust platform.
Hinningsen says the NBA is aiming to have the All Star game live on social networks for fans by 2020.
Hennonsen said he believes this will give the NBA more visibility with the public.
“There’s really no doubt that we’re going out to have a big impact on the NBA.
We want to give them a lot of credibility,” he added.
“And I think that’s exactly what we’ve done.
