Updated December 08, 2018 12:33:16The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 26 to 20 on Sunday to claim the NFC North title and take home their first playoff berth in three seasons.
In a game that was supposed to be a preview of the playoffs, it was the Ravens that took the lead in the second quarter.
They scored 10 unanswered points to open the scoring, then converted a fourth-and-1 from the Ravens 39-yard line to tie it at 22.
The Eagles scored three consecutive points in the final minutes to take the lead for good at 28-21.
But the Ravens rallied and scored their third and final touchdown in the last two minutes to pull away.
It was the first time in three games that the Ravens won their opening game.
The Ravens are now three games out of the top spot in the AFC North and hold a 10-game lead over the Green Bay Packers.
They are just two games back of the defending NFC champions, the Chicago Bears.
The final home game of the regular season is Sunday at 3 p.m.
