In the third quarter, Steelers kicker Josh Brown returned a punt 44 yards for a touchdown, giving him nine field goals and five extra points this season.
The Cards also had a season-high nine sacks.
Afterward, the Cardinals had a big comeback at midfield, with wide receiver Rashad Jennings making a diving catch in the end zone.
Jennings had three receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown.
The Steelers defense allowed Jennings to finish the game on the ground three times.
